Exercise and fitness have always been important to me, however hip problems over the past 7 years have played havoc with this. Now, at 60 years of age, with 2 replacement hips, I feel rejuvenated and able (apart from running) to get back to enjoying life to the full. I especially enjoy open water swimming and am looking to take up Nordic walking as a replacement for running.
